PROCESS
INITIAL CONSULTATION
We will arrange an initial meeting with you, to consult on the design brief in order to establish a scope of works for your project. This meeting would generally take 1-2 hours and will allow us to gain an understanding of your requirements so we can prepare the following:
We will arrange an initial meeting with you, to consult on the design brief in order to establish a scope of works for your project. This meeting would generally take 1-2 hours and will allow us to gain an understanding of your requirements so we can prepare the following:
- Establishment of the project Design Brief
- Design concept: mood board
- Fee proposal for us to complete your project
PROJECT FEE
We will arrange a follow up project briefing consultation, where we will present our design proposal and the suggested scope of works in which to complete your project. A fixed fee, based on the estimated amount of working hours of the project, will also be given. Every job is considered individually based on the design brief and required works.
For work to commence, the Design Brief, outlining the scope of works, must be approved by the client and designer in the form of both signatures. 50% of the fixed fee is also required as deposit, with the balance due at the completion of the final installation.
Inclusions
As designers, we also have the ability to purchase goods at wholesale prices + GST. We offer our clients cost-plus, whereby we pass on this discount with an additional 10% surcharge fee, covering administration time.
These goods can include furniture, lighting, objects & art, fabrics, wallpapers, bathroom/kitchen fixtures and other interior accessories. The manufacture of goods such as furniture and window treatments are also on offer. (Please note, there are some suppliers that offer little discount. We will discuss this case by case when/if this should arise).
