When you stay at Hilgar, the entire house and grounds are yours. The house has been presented with great care and attention to detail. We hope this helps you to thoroughly enjoy your visit. We ask that in the interest of Hilgar and future guests, the house and grounds are treated with respect and left as you found them. Any loss or extensive damage to items will be charged accordingly as too will any excessive cleaning requirements.
Hiring Hilgar for private functions is a possibility, however, prior approval must be gained. Separate costings apply for this use. Any breach of this agreement will incur a fee and guests will be asked to vacate immediately. Furthermore, excessive noise disturbance will not be tolerated.
For your own piece of mind, we ask that you secure all personal belongings during your visit. Hilgar will not be responsible for any loss of personal items.
There is a double-storey cubby house in the back garden for children's enjoyment. At all times, children must be supervised by an adult while playing in the cubby house and the garden area. Hilgar will not take responsibility for any injury occurred.
Generally Hilgar is pet-free, however, please contact owner to discuss further if you would like to visit with your pet. Exceptions are possible.
Hilgar is a strictly non-smoking house, however, smoking is permitted outside. Please dispose of all associated rubbish. A fee may be charged if not done so.
