A great showing that has been airing on ABC1 Friday nights for the last few weeks.  On tonight's episode, the show's host Adam Ford, explores a house in central Ballarat called Aschombe.  Who knows what we'll discover when we start 'unveiling' Hilgar when the renovation begins!

Another great event for the calendar. Over the Mother's Day weekend, 11-12 May 2013, the Ballarat Heritage Festival will be held. Tours through heritage buildings, live entertainment, street performers or a cruise on the lake are just some of the free activities on offer.

Until 1 September 2013 there is an exhibition at the Ballarat Gold Museum, Sovereign Hill, displaying a collection of letters from the Goldfields, dating back to the 1850s and 60s.  For more information click on the link below:
